So since the derby I have been on 2 vacations. First was Flaming Gorge with Josh's family. It was a lot of fun, but it ended, I'm sure, differently then anyone expected.
We get to flaming gorge and pick out our camp spot. Maryann and I are super excited because its nice and warm and the boys can't turn on any ac to freeze us out. We get camp set up and get ready to eat. The next morning we wake up, eat and load up the boat. 
It was a lot of fun and a little frustrating. 
The boys get to knee board and wake board and everything is great. But the next day it gets a little more interesting. The second day Josh makes me get on the wake board first. 
So I'm going along (I'm not very good so I just pull behind the boat) 
and then Richard swamps me because the boat just stops. Kind of weird but it starts up again. So we cruise around for a while everyone who wants to go gets a turn and then the boat dies again... So we think its a great time for lunch and just to hang out. 
So we threw down an anchor and just chill for a bit. It looks like its going to rain so we start heading in. Then out of no where the boat dies AGAIN. We get it going and it dies again. We make it to the dock and load up. 
So out again we go the next day. It was a lot of fun everyone is having a good time and wake boarding in this nice cove with no waves. 
Then low and behold the boat dies. We floated from side to side trying to figure out what we can do. We finally flag down some people and they head back to the dock to get someone to come and get us because their boat was probably too little to pull ours. So we are sitting there trying not to crush the boat into the rocks and then the boat STARTS!! Yeah. So we head for the dock which was a different dock then the one we unloaded from. Its not too bad except that our truck and trailer is on the other side of the gorge. 
Richard and Maryann leave Josh, me, Sean, Preston and Jonny with the boat while some people that run the dock take them to a shuttle that goes to the other side of the gorge. Anyway so me and the boys get the boat from the dock it is tied onto to the other dock where the ramp is. That was and interesting experience. So Richard finally picks us up after sitting there for a good hour and a half and we head back to camp. We are planning on heading home the next morning because our boat is broke so we start packing up camp when we wake up the next morning. So everything is packed up and then Josh gets the boat started. So we decide to take it out one more time and if it doesn't work then we already have everything packed and we can just go home. We stay close to the dock so that if it does die then we can just hurry and load up and go home. well we get it to die but we are farther from shore then we thought so we had to flag down someone and have them tow us in. So we get in and get our boat loaded. We hook up to our other trailer and head home. Then to finish out our vacation we went to 
Vegas the next day! We went to Lance Burton, I think that was his name. He does magic.

Well hopefully you had fun regardless of all the mishaps. Ask AnDe about when our boat broke down...well, haha, ran out of gas.
Bummer. It doesn't seem like you guys had too much luck. Hopefully you had a bit of fun while it worked. That is extra great that you got to go on 2 vacates. I am jealous. :) It is good to see you started a blog and that all is well with you. It is fun to hear about what is going on in everyone's lives.
sounds like a fun vacation! even with the boat breaking down so much.. we had quite the experience this summer with a boat, um, "breaking down".. actually Ralph just forgot the extra gas can but it was quite an experience. I'm glad you guys are having so much fun though!
