Gunner Joshua Holley

Gunner was born April 10th at 3:37 a.m. He weighed 9lb 8 oz and was 20.5 in long. I went into the doctor that day before and he said that he would start me that day if I wanted, so Josh and I dropped Brett off at MaryAnn's house and headed to the hospital. We go there and checked in and around 7 they had me started with all the fun drugs. Josh and I watched DWTS, and we both decided that it was way better to watch in DVRd then live, but what can ya do? Anyway my doctor came in around 11 to break my water and he told me that I would have been coming in that night to have the baby either way because my contractions had been and were 2 minutes apart, but honestly I couldn't feel them until he broke my water. So he told the nurse to order my epidural and he broke my water and pretty much from then until he was born we were 'resting and descending' until he was born. It took so long for him to come because he was so big (at 9lbs) or we probably would have had him much sooner. So now he is here and we are all adjusting, me to not as much sleep, and Brett to having someone else that has to share mommy. Other than that we are doing good and are really happy that he is here!
