Ending of summer

Josh and I went camping a while ago and we took out puppies. Stoutheart loved it and Fui hated it. Stouthart played in the stream and checked things out, Fui did check things out and torment the little gopher holes and rodents she was still not impressed.

We also got to go down to Lake Powell for a few days, and that was and experience. Our boat broke down the first day and floated around fishing for a while. Preston was our "fish whisperer" and Maryann caught a catfish and Josh caught some kind of fish. We get our boat started and we head out a long ways from our marina and the boat dies again. We end up sleeping on one of the floating toilets in the middle of the water. We wake up and Josh catches a striper (that is why we went to Powell in the fist place) because they were boiling all around us. We get the boat going and it runs for about 5 minutes and dies again. We flag down these nice people and they towed us into the marina. We had enough of floating for a few days so we packed up and made the drive back home.

Josh took me to my first drive-in movie. That was a lot of fun. We watched Ice Age 3 (Not recommended, Kind of lame) and Night at the Museum (I'll have to watch that one again, I fell asleep pretty early in that). But that was way fun. We also got our fist Duck egg and what we thought were chicken eggs, but now we think that only our ducks are laying, but we are getting eggs so that's fun!

Now on with the derby. That's coming up August 22nd, then in September Josh and me are going on a cruise with my parents to the Mexican Riviera!!
